Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your application to, and participation in, programs run by the European Centre for Career Education s.r.o. ("ECCEDU", "we", "us"). By applying, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

2. Eligibility

Programs are open to university students and recent graduates; the Pre-University program is open to high-school students aged 16 and over. B2-level English (or Spanish, for the Spanish-track Madrid program) is required. Admission is at our discretion, based on your application and interview.

3. Applications & admissions

Applications are reviewed on a rolling, first-come basis, and places are limited. Admission is confirmed in writing. We may close applications early once a cohort is full.

4. Tuition & payment

Tuition depends on the program and package (full program, or lectures only) and is set out on our pricing page. All payments shall be made in euros (EUR) unless otherwise agreed in writing. A place is confirmed once payment terms are met.

5. Deposit, refunds & withdrawal

• A non-refundable deposit of €300 is payable on registration and counts toward your total tuition.
• Cancellation more than 90 days before the start date: tuition refunded, minus the €300 deposit.
• Cancellation 90 to 60 days before the start date: 50% of tuition refunded.
• Cancellation within 60 days of the start date: tuition is non-refundable.
• Visa refusal: with proof provided at least 7 days before the start date, tuition is refunded minus the deposit; under 7 days, reviewed case by case up to 50%.
• Instead of cancelling, you may postpone for up to two years or switch to another program.

Withdrawals must be made in writing to operations@eccedu.net. Bank transfer fees are borne by the payer.

6. Program changes & cancellation

We may make reasonable changes to schedules, lecturers or venues. If we cancel a program, you may transfer to another program or receive a refund of tuition paid.

7. Internship placement

On field programs, an internship placement is guaranteed. Placement is based on your interview, CV and motivation (and portfolio, where relevant); you rank preferred companies and we arrange the match. Allocation can take up to two months, and the specific host company is not guaranteed.

8. Participant conduct

You agree to act professionally and lawfully during lectures, events and the internship, and to follow the reasonable rules of ECCEDU and any host company. We may end participation, without refund, for serious or repeated misconduct.

9. Intellectual property

Program materials remain the property of ECCEDU or its lecturers and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, ECCEDU is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. You are responsible for your own travel, insurance, accommodation (except where explicitly included) and visa arrangements.

11. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Czech courts. We will always try to resolve any issue with you directly first.
