The European Centre for Career Education exists to close the gap between what students learn and what the working world expects — with practitioner-led teaching and a guaranteed internship, in one European summer.

From theory
to experience

Too many graduates leave university without ever having done the work their degree describes. We were founded in Prague in 2016 to change that.

Our programs pair intensive, practitioner-led lectures with a real internship at a partner company — so students don't just study a field, they practise it, and leave with experience and a professional reference on their CV. Every admitted student on a field program is placed.

But the gap between education and industry doesn't close in a classroom alone, so the work runs wider than the programs. Leaders Voice and Leaders Hub bring founders and C-suite executives around one table; ECCEDU Friends adds the organisations that open doors for our students; and projects like the University–Industry Forum and our Erasmus+ work carry the same idea into policy and research.
