about the program

A short, intensive European program in your field: weeks of practitioner-led lectures and workshops, followed — on our field programs — by a guaranteed internship with a partner company. You leave with applied experience and a professional reference, not just a certificate.

It is built around real work, not sightseeing. The lectures are taught by people who practise in the field, and the internship places you inside a working company. The goal is professional experience you can put on a CV.

Practitioners — founders, consultants, lawyers, engineers and designers working in the field — rather than career academics. Sessions are applied and project-based.

Prague 2027 runs five programs: Business & Management, New Technology & Business Law, Architecture & Design, Engineering & Emerging Technologies, plus the Pre-University Program. Madrid 2027 runs International Business & AI, with a separate Spanish-language track. See the programs page for details.

University students and recent graduates. The Pre-University program is open to high-school students aged 16 and over. No prior work experience is required.

Your motivation and B2-level English (Spanish for the Spanish-track Madrid program). Admission is by application, a CV, a short letter of motivation, and a 30-minute conversation.

Apply online, then have a short interview. If it is a match, you receive an offer and confirm your place with a deposit. We review applications on a rolling basis and reply within 48 hours. Places are limited and can close early.

Many applicants from outside the EU will need a visa — check your local embassy for the correct type. Once you are admitted, ECCEDU issues an invitation letter to support your application.

Yes. Every admitted student on a field program is placed with a partner company — placement is guaranteed, not competitive. We work with 850+ partner companies across Europe, which is how we can promise a 100% placement rate. The Pre-University program is the exception: it is a lecture-and-discovery track for high-school students and does not include an internship.

Placement is based on your interview, CV and motivation (plus a portfolio for Architecture). You rank your preferred companies and we arrange the match. Allocation can take up to two months, so earlier applications have more choice.

A certificate of completion after the lectures, and — on successful completion of the internship — a recommendation letter from your host company. The letter reflects your performance and is a strong addition to your CV.

Field programs come in two packages — full program (lectures + internship) or lectures only: Prague €2,290 / €1,290, Madrid €2,490 / €1,490. The Pre-University program is a single package at €1,890, which includes supervised accommodation. Yes — a limited number each year: one full scholarship and a social scholarship covering up to 50% of tuition, awarded on merit and circumstance. Mention your interest in your application, or email apply@eccedu.net.

A €300 deposit secures your place and counts toward tuition; it is non-refundable. More than 90 days before the start, tuition is refundable minus the deposit; 90–60 days, 50%; within 60 days, non-refundable. If your visa is refused, with proof at least 7 days before the start you are refunded minus the deposit. You can also postpone for up to two years or switch programs.

Yes — mentorship is free for mentees, and mentors take part voluntarily and unpaid. It is part of the lifetime alumni community.

Three months is the standard, with meetings of roughly an hour at a rhythm you and your mentor agree between you. An extension is possible by mutual agreement.

You can name a preferred mentor, but selecting one does not guarantee placement with that person. Choose relevant fields as well, so we can propose the best available alternative — which you are free to accept or decline.

High-school students, university students and young professionals, in the Czech Republic or abroad. ECCEDU alumni follow a simplified path; new applicants may be asked for a CV or motivation statement.

Either side can ask to end the mentorship. Tell us early and we will look at the options rather than let it drift.

Yes, on completion — meaning you stayed active through the agreed period, worked toward your stated goal, and submitted a short final reflection. Mentors may also give feedback or a reference.

A mix of lectures, workshops, project work and — during the internship — time at your host company, plus cultural and social events. You manage your own meals and travel to events; we provide guidance so you settle in quickly.

For the Pre-University program, yes — supervised accommodation at Student House Botič, airport transfer and 24/7 support are included. For other programs we help with information and options, but accommodation is arranged separately.
